PTO

General PTO Information

Our PTO works diligently to foster strong relationships among the school, teachers and parents.
You as parents, grandparents, and/or guardians are a vital part of the PTO and truly give the
organization its strength and stamina.

 

The PTO is a 501(c)(3) organization. This means that ALL money raised through events, fees and
fundraising goes directly towards many fun and exciting events throughout the school year. For
students these include Donuts with Dad, Muffins with Mom, Water/Field Days, Spirit Tshirts, and 5th Grade events. Teachers benefit with snacks for the teacher lounge, working dinners and lunches, as well as PTO sponsored Teacher Appreciation Week activities. We also support charitable events held at IB that help our community.

 

Please support the organization by purchasing a $10 money saving discount card, good at over
30 local businesses. We are also asking that parents contribute a “Student Activity” fee. This fee covers part of the costs involved with executing our PTO events.

 

The PTO will hold general meetings the second Friday of every month at 7:45 am. All are welcome to
attend to offer ideas and suggestions, as well as, explore volunteer opportunities for upcoming events. In addition, be sure to “like” our dedicated PTO

We will post updates on school events, ways you can help outside of school, and copies of all flyers sent home with students.
