Our PTO works diligently to foster strong relationships among the school, teachers, and parents. You as parents, grandparents, and/or guardians are a vital part of the PTO and truly give the organization its strength and stamina.

The PTO is a 501(c)(3) organization. This means that ALL money raised through events, fees and fundraising goes directly towards many fun and exciting events throughout the school year. For students these include Water/Field Days, Spirit T-shirts, 5th Grade events, Portfolios, Pastries & Parents, Fall Festival, International Night, Thanksgiving lunches and more. Teachers benefit with snacks for the teacher lounge, working dinners and lunches, as well as PTO sponsored Teacher Appreciation Week activities. We also support charitable events held at IB that help our community.

Please support the organization by purchasing a $10 money saving discount card, good at over 30 local businesses. We are also asking that parents donate a “Student Activity” fee. This fee covers part of the costs involved with executing our PTO events.

The PTO holds monthly meetings. All are welcome to attend to offer ideas and suggestions, as well as explore volunteer opportunities for upcoming events. In addition, be sure to “like” our dedicated PTO Facebook page: Hilton Head IB PTO.
We will post updates on school events, ways you can help outside of school, and copies of all flyers sent home with students.
