Hilton Head Island Elementary earned three awards, Robert Smalls International Academy earned one and the district’s Office of Communications earned one.

The district’s SC/NSPRA award-winning efforts for 2019 were:

  • Robert Smalls International Academy: School News Broadcast (Video category).
  • District Office of Communications: Back-to-school social media campaign (Golden Achievement).

“School success depends on effective communication with parents and community members, and we congratulate our winners,” said Interim Superintendent Herb Berg.
